Mondiali – The Nordic Edition

Dodgeball for Diversity

Mondiali is an event which has been created with the  purpose of breaking down barriers and prejudice between different social groups. The idea is that different minority groups as well as general community groups meet on equal footing around ball games and socializing.

First and foremost, Mondiali Nordic Edition is a tournament in dodgeball, where community, equality and understanding across cultures are the core. In addition, there will be music and cultural events for the event, which allows for debate and cultural exchange.

We want to create a fun and enjoyable weekend, where participants have the opportunity to play, talk, laugh and have fun with each other. In addition, we hope that the project will provide a basis for greater understanding and acceptance between different social groups in the community.

If you want to play dodgeball, you can sign up as part of a team - minimum 10 players - or as a "free bird" where you are put together with other "free birds". However, it is also possible to attend the weekend without playing.

CULTURE, COFFEE AND MUSIC

There will be the opportunity to experience live music and café fun across teams. In the café you can buy coffee, tea, cake, snacks, beer, water and wine.

MEALS

Served at the Gymnastikhøjskolen in Ollerup. All meals are included in the attendance price.

ACCOMMODATION - CAMP MONDIALI NORDIC

Accommodation is in Halvalla (sports hall) at our neighboring school, The Free Teachers' School, on our own mattresses / mattresses which we have brought with us. We create a cozy, indoor camp atmosphere, so tents (without picks, of course) are also welcome.
